Drager Complete Air Breathing Equipment Kit including PAS Lite with LDV, Panorama Face Mask and 9L Cylinder with Cover
This particular variant of the PAS LITE Kit includes the PAS Lite (with lung demand valve, a panorama nova facemask with push-in connection, a 9L carbon composite cylinder (inline with ratchet valve) and also a PVC cylinder cover.
The Drager Pas Lite is robust and easy to use self contained breathing apparatus, ideal for use in industrial applications.
For those who do not wear breathing apparatus on a regular basis, minimal training is required to use it.
Drager’s SCBA uses the same high quality pneumatics found in professional fire fighter breathing apparatus and ensures that high performance is consistent and the unit will be reliable over its lifetime. A high strength carbon composite space-frame and lightweight design makes the carrying system durable as these features are heat and chemical resistant.
EFFICIENT LOAD DISTRIBUTION
In order to reduce the risk of back strain, stress and fatigue the carrying system of the PAS Lite has been developed using new materials that are shaped and formed to provide maximum comfort at both the shoulders and the waist. This design also ensures weight distribution at the shoulders.
The unit will use durable rubber coated fabric for comfort and chemical resistance, and will also perform well during the flame engulfment test in line with EN137 Type 2.
INTEGRATED HOSE DESIGN
The risk of snagging and entanglement is reduced due to the air supply and gauge hoses being mounted into the space-frame. This allows the wearer to change the position of the hose from one side to another to suit individual preferences. The hoses of the self contained breathing apparatus can be replaced easily and effectively because of their full integrated design.
Downtime and costs are kept to a minimum during repair and maintenance because of the unique design features of the Drager PAS Lite. All major components of the unit are quick and easy to assemble and disassemble, including the harness which is attached to the space-frame by a simple single-piece retention method. There is a reducer contained within the space-frame for added protection and can be easily removed with simple tools. The harness of the SCBA is highly resistant and invulnerable to chemicals, making decontamination and cleaning a straightforward task.
PROVEN, ROBUST AND FLEXIBLE
The Drager PAS Lite allows users to take advantage of other tried and tested systems. Other accessories can be used to adapt the PAS Lite to suit specific industrial applications.
As well as the standard fit, easy to clean harness, integrated Lung Demand Valve (LDV) and pneumatic gauge complete with high pressure whistle warning unit at the base of the space-frame, electronic monitoring (Bodyguard II) or airline ready options such as the Drager PAS ASV can be specified.
Integrating easily with all Drager PAS Airline equipment, this flexible breathing apparatus is also fully compatible with Drager Panorama® and FPS® 7000 Face Mask ranges. Our breathing apparatus equipment is designed for use with single steel or carbon composite cylinders rated at 4 to 9 L, 200 and 300 bar. A number of secondary supply connections are available for use in rescue, decontamination or airline applications. The unit can also be fitted with a variety of electronic voice communication options.
