New Rainfall Logging System
The Rainfall Logging System from Casella, pro-
vides a robust, reliable stand alone method of
monitoring rainfall. It can be supplied complete
with the Casella 0.1, 0.2 & 0.5 mm tipping bucket
rain gauges, or as a separate unit for use with other gauges.
With very low power requirement, the unit can
operate under rapid rainfall conditions, and has
internal memory capacity for up to 13000 minutes
of continuous rainfall. Data can be downloaded
via RS232 to laptop devices or to PDA’s via the
RS 232/USB converter.
Additional analogue input channel allows other
sensor input to be logged, and alarm output facil-
ity is available via direct output or via SMS.
Additional features will include Intensity correction software
and external solar power and GSM module for telemetry of data
in remote areas.
