The ToxiRAE II Oxygen (O2) Monitor costs a little more than disposable detectors and continuously displays toxic gas concentrations to the user. Typical disposables only display remaining life whereas the ToxiRAE oxygen gas detector is fully-featured and provides a continuous, digital display of the gas concentration, STEL, TWA and peak values as well as high and low alarms.
RAE System’s oxygen gas monitor is a simple-to-use one-button product and is easy to calibrate.
Specific requirements can be met by using or modifying the alarms, which includes a bright red flashing alarm, a loud 90 dB buzzer and a built-in vibration alarm. These alarms can be altered to meet different alarm conditions.
The O2 portable monitor can be hands-free and can clip onto a hardhat, shirt pocket, shoulder strap, or belt. The ABS housing of the ToxiRAE II oxygen gas monitor is durable, highly-impact resistant and carbon-loaded.
Compared to the disposables, which are turned on once and stay on until their batteries expire, the ToxiRAE II oxygen monitor allows the user to decide when and where the device is used and can be turned off accordingly.
RAE System’s oxygen gas detector does not have a pre-programmed expiration date so the user will get the full life out of the battery and sensor. The battery and sensor of the instrument can easily be replaced in the workplace and due to the cost of the ToxiRAE II being similar to many reduced-feature disposables, there is a choice to renew the O2 gas detector or obtain a fresh, new monitor.
This oxygen gas monitor also comes with a 2 year guarantee, stainless steel alligator clip, wrist strap, calibration gas test adapter and a high-capacity Lithium battery.
It can be applied in fields such as oil production, chemical plants, fire service and power plants.
