Crowcon T4 - The Top 5 Things You Should Know

In this Frontline Safety guide, we'll cover the top 5 things you should know about the Crowcon T4 Multi-Gas Detector.

#1 Multi-Gas detector capable of detecting

  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO) - H2 resistant
  • Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)
  • Oxygen (O2)
  • Flammables (LEL)

There is one sensor for every gas which increases reliability and ensures a fast, effective detection of gases. Additional to this there is an optional filter to keep sensors clean in dirty environments.

#2 The T4 is easily operated due to its large single button and intuitive menu.

Simply, double click the power button to access the menu and navigate through the menu with a single click. Small icons indicate what menu function you are on.

#3 Manufacturer advises it should be serviced every 6 months to ensure it's compliance.

The calibration of the device is vital in guaranteeing sensors are detecting the correct levels of gas. Frontline Safety can service the unit for you also. But, if the user is manufacturer trained, the T4 is easily maintained. Find out more about our calibration services here.

#4 Additionally, the Crowcon T4 has a quick view function.

This allows the user to check configuration details even when the device is turned off. Not to mention, the innovative TWA resume function ensures toxic gas exposure is accurately calculated throughout an entire shift, again, even when the device is powered off.

#5 Bright red & blue LEDs and vibration alerts

These ensure workers will be able to hear, see and feel the Crowcon T4 should gas be present. Furthermore, the traffic light' status indicator indicates the compliance status of the device. Providing workers peace of mind when relying on this device. When the ‘Positive Safety Indicator’ flashes in green, this indicates the device is operating safely.
