Drager X-Dock Calibration Station - 5 Things to Know
In this guide, we'll explain the 5 key things to consider about the Drager X-Dock Calibration Station. We also have a video walkthrough, which you can watch via this link.
#1 - There's more than one X-Dock Calibration Station
There’s more than one X-Dock calibration station. The calibration stations available depend on how many detectors you’re calibrating and what type. The X-Dock 5300 is suitable for use with a single module only, whether this is for the X-am 125 family or the Pac family. The X-Dock 6300 and 6600 can hold a combination of up to 10 modules. The 6300 features 3 test gas inlets whereas the 6600 has 6 inlets.
#2 - Fully Automated Calibration
It automates the calibration process, reducing gas flow per module and in turn saving money on test gases. It keeps the testing time to a minimum and the valves automatically switch the test gases when connected.
#3 - Saves Time and Money
Not only is there a cost saving, but there’s also a time-saving. With the X-Dock 6000 series of calibration docks, up to 10 modules can be simultaneously tested. Most Drager test gas cylinders should be stored in the database on the X-Dock so by entering the part number, the fields should be automatically filled.
#4 - Transferable Data
Don’t worry if you don’t use the X-Dock Manager software. Data can be downloaded directly from the X-Dock station when logged in. Any available certificates and data logs can be copied on to the USB through the menu.
#5 - Modules for Every Need
The modules cover a range of instruments including Drager Pac 3500, 5500, 7000 and the Drager X-am 2500, 5000 and 5600.
