Frontline Safety launches new range of ETI monitors

Frontline Safety now offers a new range of environmental monitors from ETI.

ETI Legionnaires' Thermometer Kit

ETI Legionnaires' Thermometer Kit

Frontline Safety has begun offering a new range of environmental safety monitors from Electronic Temperature Instruments (ETI), allowing businesses to guard against Legionnaire's disease, check air temperature and humidity, monitor high-temperature surfaces and much more.

ETI is Britain's largest manufacturer of digital thermometers and its products are often used in the catering trade, as well as industrial sectors.

It produces high quality devices used to detect damp, humidity, temperature and other variables that can impact upon safety in the workplace.

The firm is based in Worthing, West Sussex and produces more than 70 per cent of its instruments in the same area.

Its UK-manufactured products come with a two-year warranty and the firm offers servicing, calibration and repair of its monitors to all customers.

Among the new products now available from Frontline Safety is the ETI Heavy Duty Surface Probe.

This device is commonly used to detect high temperatures on griddles, hotplates and other extremely hot surfaces, making it ideal for the catering trade.

With a response time of less than one second and a maximum probe temperature of 1,000°C, the product should help ensure that devices are operating at the correct heat.

Meanwhile, with current legislation meaning business owners are responsible for ensuring their water systems are free from Legionella, the ETI Legionnaires' Thermometer Kit could be a wise investment.

Legionella - the bacterium responsible for Legionnaire's disease - is most likely to grow in water stored between 20 and 45°C.

An accurate water temperature thermometer is therefore a vital tool in protecting staff and the public, allowing managers to ensure their cold water supply is kept at below 20°C, while hot water is stored at 60°C or above.

The ETI Legionnaires' Thermometer Kit comes with a traceable certificate of calibration and features an immersion probe for testing water temperature and a surface ribbon for monitoring the temperature of pipes and tanks.

For firms that require accurate monitoring of air humidity, the ETI 6102 Therma-Hygrometer could be the ideal solution.

Not only does the device offer precise relative humidity readings, it shows current air temperature within a range of -20 to 70°C.

The units run off of three 1.5volt AAA batteries and have a minimum life expectancy of 10,000 hours.

These are just a few of the fantastic ETI products now available from Frontline Safety. Click here to check out the full range.
