How to Perform a Leak Test on the Drager Accuro Pump

The Dräger Accuro pump is a manual bellows pump commonly used to measure the air's concentration of gases and vapours. When the Drager Accuro Pump is pressed together completely, this counts as ‘one stroke’. When it is released, the air is drawn automatically, and the gas sample to be measured is sucked through the tube being used. Measurements depend on the number of strokes required, which will be indicated on the specific gas detection tube.

Before using the pump, it is important to perform a leak test to ensure that it functions properly and provides accurate measurements.

Firstly, insert an unopened tube into the pump socket. You should now squeeze the pump completely and release it. The end of the stroke indicator should disappear and show as clear. If the end-of-stroke indicator has not appeared after 15 minutes, then your Accuro pump is leak-proof and safe to use.

However, if the end-of-stroke indicator appears within 15 minutes, you should contact our team before use.
