Naomi Campbell's event manager has been arrested after complaints that a party thrown for the supermodel's boyfriend was too loud.
An event manager working for supermodel Naomi Campbell may be wishing he'd invested in noise monitoring solutions after he was arrested at a party he put on in honour of the 42-year-old's boyfriend.

Vladimir Doronin was celebrating his 50th birthday at a 15th century fort in Jodhpur on Thursday (October 8th) when police arrived around midnight following noise complaints, the Daily Mail reported.

Officers arrested organiser PK Pareek after local residents reported loud music and fireworks emanating from the historic venue.

It was revealed that Mr Pareek had obtained permission for the music and fireworks to go on until 22:00 local time, but this deadline came and went, with police arriving two hours later.

Celebrities from around the world were reportedly in attendance at the lavish party, which saw Diana Ross take to the stage for a performance reputed to have cost Campbell $500,000 (approximately £314,500).

Local resident Kamlash Prohit told the news provider that the party, which had approximately 200 guests, could be heard in surrounding buildings.

"Until late at night there was the loud sound of music from the fort and the huge explosions of fireworks gave us mental stress," he explained.

Closer to home, noise pollution worries were not enough to put off Forest Heath District Council from granting planning permission for a car and caravan sales site in Lakenheath, the Bury Free Press has reported.
