Casella Apex2 Standard Pump
Please Note: this product has been superceded by the Apex 2 IS version.
The Apex2 is a personal sampling pump from Casella. This version is a standard pump which comes with a protective rubber boot. The boot is ideal for protection against accident knocks.
Please note: the docking station for this item must be purchased separately. This is required to download any data which is ideal for tying data to lab results.
The standard Apex2 features a motion sensor and a bag outlet for collecting samples with a grab bag. It is optimised at around 2l/min which is the flow at which most Occupational Hygiene measurements are made.
This Casella personal sampling pump has a pulsation value ~10% (@2l/min) which means you can have confidence in the integrity of your samples. See the datasheet for more information on the flow performance. It also has a motion sensor which lets you know that the pump is being worn. This ensures that your samples are valid
This is a replacement of the Casella Apex Dust Sampling Kit (25mm GFA).
