Gas Detectors for Pharmaceutical Applications

The following gas detectors have been suggested by manufacturers as being suitable for applications within the pharmaceutical industry.  Within the manufacturing process in pharmaceuticals suitable detectors may include those for ammonia, chlorine, combustible gases, hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide.  Oxygen enrichment/deficiency monitors may be suitable for chemical synthesis, tank-cleaning, enclosed buildings and structures, providing it is able to carry out pre-entry checks.  PID detectors may be used to detect VOCs in Organic synthesis, liquid-solid separation, compounding, granulating & tablet-coating operations and drying & packaging applications.
