Gas Detection Tubes

Gas detection tubes offer a simple and reliable method for short-term gas measurement and on-the-spot analysis. At Frontline Safety, we stock a wide range of tubes from trusted brands like Dräger and RAE Systems, covering hundreds of gases across various industries. Dräger tubes are operated using the Dräger Accuro Pump and typically come in packs of 8–10. RAE Systems RAE-SEP tubes are designed for use with the UltraRAE 3000 PID gas detector, offering excellent accuracy for spot testing.

These gas detector tubes can measure over 500 different substances—including many that cannot be detected using standard single or multi-gas detectors. This makes them ideal for industrial sites, laboratories, and environmental monitoring. Dräger’s range includes short-term detector tubes, diffusion tubes, and air flow test tubes, helping users detect not only gas concentrations but also air movement in confined or ventilated spaces.

Popular options include tubes for hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), ammonia (NH₃), benzene, carbon dioxide (CO₂), carbon monoxide (CO), and ozone (O₃)—all critical for accurate gas risk assessment.
