Drager Alcotest 4000 Alcohol Breathalyser (A4000)
The Drager Alcotest 4000 (A4000) is an alcohol breathalyser. This is a reliable, handheld breath alcohol detector used by professional services, including the police.
It is a simple and easy to use device with a clear display to guide you through each step required. The design of the Alcotest and the mouthpiece ensures that hygiene levels are maintained throughout the testing process. It comes with a protective cover for the top and the mouthpiece is totally replaceable, for multiple tests.
The Alcotest 4000 is ready to use, so you can test yourself at any time and produce a result in seconds. Simply switch on, wait approximately 4 seconds for the screen to show READY and blow until you hear an audible click. The responsive sensor will obtain a precise result and show your result onscreen after 3-10 seconds. The format of this result will depend on the type of test taken.
The replacement mouthpieces for the A4000 are available to purchase from Frontline Safety. A new mouthpiece should be used per person and this should intuitively fit on to the detector. These come individually packaged.
