This car charging connection from Drager is a spare part and accessory of the X-am range of multi gas monitors.

The X-am 7000 is one of the multi gas monitors which is able to make use of the car charging connection.  When used alongside the charging module the battery of this instrument is able to be charged in field.  This gives a great advantage of reducing any downtime on the instrument when the battery is flat.
