Drager Cool vest - PCM Element small

Drager Safety offer the PCM elements as an accessory of the Cool Vest CVP 5220.  This version of the element comes in a size small but other sizes are available.

The elements work alongside the Cool Vest CVP 5220 which is a comfort vest.  The idea of this is to absorb excess body heat when a person is present in high temperature environments.  Contact us now for availability on the Cool Vests from Draeger Safety - 0844 550 0001 .

The PCM (phase change material) initally comes in a solid state (in a temperature of below 22°C). When exposed to temperatures above 28°C it changes to a liquid form as it absorbs heat energy.  This is what activates the cooling method.

Once the ambient temperature returns to below 20°C the PCM elements will change phase and take between 30 minutes and 2 hours to become solid again.
