Drager Cylinder Cover (Nomex 9L 300 bar)

This cylinder cover from Drager Safety is another product in a wide variety of accessories available for carbon composite breathing apparatus cylinders.  This particular version will house a 9 litre 300 bar cylinder and is made from a nomex material.

Nomex is a flame-resistant, meta-aramid material and is ideal for applications such as firefighting where the presence of flames is a possibility.

Cylinder covers will help prevent any surface damage to the bottle.  The material of the cylinder is what protects it from any impact or abrasions as it’s made from tough layers of aluminium and fibre glass. 

There is a range of different sizes available for the nomex covers.  If you require a smaller size then there is a version for the 6.8 litre, 300 bar cylinder, otherwise you have the choice of a 9 litre 200 bar  option.
