Drager Cylinder Cover PVC (9L 200 bar)

Drager Safety offer up this cylinder cover for use with Draeger’s carbon composite breathing cylinder range.  This version of the cover is made to fit a 9 litre 200 bar cylinder and is made from a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material.

Additional covers are available for other sizes of composite cylinders.  There is a smaller version available in the 6.8 litre 300 bar cylinder (click here ) which is still made of PVC.  Similarly, there is a PVC option for the 9 litre 300 bar cylinder (click here ).

Using a cylinder cover will help protect the surface of the composite cylinder.  This is made from aluminium which is wrapped in carbon and various layers of glass fibres.  All of these materials come together to prevent the cylinder from being impacted or suffer from any abrasions.

Cylinders can be used in all sorts of applications where breathing may become difficult.  You have the added choice of a nomex cover (flame-resistant material) which is available in a 6.8 litre (300 bars) or 9.0 litre (300 bars ) size.  Both are available to purchase from Frontline Safety.
