Drager Detection Tubes - Methyl Acrylate 5/a (Pack of 10)
These short-term detection tubes from Drager Safety are able to detect a range of substances including Butyl Acrylate, Butyl Methacrylate, Ethyl Acrylate, Ethyl Hexylacrylate, Ethyl Methacrylate, Isobutyl Acetate, Methyl Acrylate and Methyl Methacrylate.
For methyl acrylate the measuring range is 5 to 200 ppm.
This particular Draeger gas detection tube has a shelf life of up to 2 years and comes in a pack of 10 tubes.

Cross Sensitivity | |
Other compounds with C=C double bonds are indicated, but with different sensitivities. It is impossible to differentiate between them. It is impossible to measure methyl acrylate in the presence of hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide will discolor the indicating layer black. Carbon monoxide in high concentrations discolors the indicating layer pale blue grey. |
