Drager Mask Body (EPDM-S) FPS 7000

This mask body is part of a wide range of Drager Safety spare parts and accessories for breathing apparatus, responder products and respiratory protection.  In particular, it’s a spare part of the FPS 7000 full face mask.

This version of the mask body comes in a size small and is made from a material called EPDM.  EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a type of synthetic rubber.  It can be used in a wide range of applications and is particularly useful as it is heat resistant and also weather resistant.

It’s particularly popular for use in seals, especially face seals which can be found in respiratory protection.  The face seal on the FPS 7000 is one of the distinguishing features of the mask.  It’s tight against the skin and fits well into the contours of the face.
