Drager Pac 8500 Hydrogen Sulphide/Carbon Monoxide (H2S/CO)
The Drager Pac 8500 is a two-tox gas detector. It houses two sensors - one for carbon monoxide (CO, hydrogen compensated) detection and one for hydrogen sulphide (H2S) detection. The D-Light on the top of the monitor indicates whether the Pac is functioning properly or not.
It's a dual sensor, housed in a robust shock-proof housing with a clear indication on the front as to what gases the monitor will detect. The Pac 8500 is a reliable monitor, able to give highly accurate and fast response times. It has a data and event logger which notes concentrations and events, along with the date and time. The data can be downloaded from the Pac to the PC through a communication mode and USB cable.
The CO/H2S Pac 8500 has a hydrogen-compensated sensor which means it minimises the risk of cross sensitivty to hydrogen. It can be used in tough conditions and the integrated membrane filter will protect the sensor from a certain amount of exposure to dust and liquids.
