Drager PSS Rescue Hood
The Drager PSS Rescue Hood is an example of a constant flow emergency escape hood which is ideal for helping others escape from hazardous environments.
This rescue hood is suitable for use with any self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) unit which is fitted with a secondary supply hose. Please note: this must be approved to the requirements of EN 137.
Once connected to the secondary supply hose connection the rescue hood should be placed over the head of the person being rescued and a constant rate of air is allows to flow into the hood. A drawstring function will ensure the PSS rescue hood is held in place.
Another advantage of using this rescue hood is the fact that all of its components are fully flame retardant. See the spec table for more detail on approvals.
