Drager Visor

This visor from Draeger Safety is part of a wide range of spare parts and accessories available for breathing apparatus, responder products and also respiratory protection (such as face masks).

There are many different visors on the Frontline Safety website; however this one is made from a material called PMMA.  PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) is a transparent thermoplastic which is lightweight and shatter-resistant.  This is an ideal material for a mask as it enhances the user’s safety and adds to the lightweight nature of the Panorama Nova full face mask also.  PMMA is also more economical than polycarbonate yet not as strong. 

As well as being suitable for the Panorama Nova, this visor can also be used with the Drager X-plore 6300 full face mask.  This is a single thread mask which is compatible with Draeger’s range of Rd40 standard thread filter range.  It’s a reliable mask and is suitable for a wide range of applications.
