This particular product is solvent resistant which means it’s suitable for use in applications where hydrogen sulphide (H2S) may be a possibility.

Using Viton hosing has its advantages.  It’s a type of synthetic rubber and fluoropolymer elastomer and is commonly used in items such as O-rings.  Viton contains properties which mean it has a lower probability of catching fire and is also less likely to decay under increased oxygen conditions.  This is what makes it an ideal product for use in hazardous gas detection applications.

Not only is the hosing for with X-am multi gas detectors it is also be suitable for use with the X-Dock calibration and management systems (5300 for X-am 125 series and 5300 for PAC series).
