Drager X-plore 5500 Full Face Mask and Filter Set
This facemask and filter set includes the Drager X-plore 5500 full face mask and three pairs of the A1B1E1K1HgP3 R D combination filters.
The Drager X-Plore 5500 is a full face mask, ideal for use in industries including chemical and steel plants, automobile and shipping, maintenance, utilities supply and disposal. It's use can be extended when used with filters from Drager's bayonet twin filter range. When combined mask and filters can cover a range of toxic gases and vapours.
The X-plore 5500 comes in a universal size with a five-point harness. This makes it easy to put on and take off. It's double-layer face seal allows for a secure fit to the face. It has a large visor which allows for an unrestricted field of vision.
The coloured rings around the casing of the filter show which groups of gases the gas filter part protects against and also what class of particulates. This particular ABEK filter can be reused (for more than one work shift), however it’s important that you’re able to tell when your filter has come to the end of its life and can no longer be used. Please see guidance from the Drager Application and Filter Datasheets in our downloads section.
This filter is A1B1E1K1HgP3 R D which means it will protect against the following gases, vapours and particulates to a degree. Please read the datasheet for further guidance:
- Gases and vapours of organic compounds with boiling point > 65 °C (A-Part)
- Inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide (B-Part)
- Sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride (E-part)
- Ammonia and organic ammonia derivates (K-part)
- Particles (class P3 - 99.95% efficient in filtering out particulates)
- Leak-free seal on mask prevents seepage of any hazardous substances
- Harness also prevents hair tangling
- Mask has EPDM material, offering high ageing resistance
- Range of spare parts available for maintenance
