FGD FlameSpec UV-IR-HD Flame Detector (M25)

The FlameSpec UV-IR-HD is an ultra-fast flame detector, capable of detecting a large variety of fires including hydrocarbon fires (visible and non-visible) and hydrogen fires.  The HD version of this detector provides high-definition video output of a monitored area.

All FGD flame detectors from Fire and Gas Detection Technologies are reliable and can address fast eruptions of fire down to slow, growing fires thanks to the UV-IR technology used.  They have a high immunity to false alarms but are also highly sensitive to genuine fires up to 100 feet (30m) away or 1 foot for a n-heptane pan fire.  Please refer to the product datasheet in our downloads section for more information on the detection time, distance, immunity and response times.

An additional feature of the enhanced, HD-video versions of the Flamespec UV-IR is the advantage of being able to see the extent of the danger and situation before rescuers enter a fire, through the clear imaging output.  It can be connected via ethernet, it is SIL 2 compliant and HART 7 models are available too – contact our sales team for more information.
