MSA Galaxy GX2 (ALTAIR/PRO / 1 Valve)
The Galaxy GX2 is an automated test system from MSA which has the ability to test the Altair family of gas detectors. This particular configuration includes a module for the Altair and Altair Pro single gas detector and also 1 valve for a calibration cylinder. It is a non-charging module.
The MSA Smart Electronic Cylinder Holder is required for use with this system. High performance is just one of the benefits of using the Galaxy GX2. Another is the fact it can be used alongside a PC, as a stand-alone system or as part of a fleet or calibration systems.
The system is intelligent and used RFID tags to help ensure the correct usage of the calibration gas cylinders. This automatically provides you with an easy set up.
Ease of Use
- Easy setup, simple use with touch-free testing.
- Colour touch screen enhances user experience at the test stand.
- Can be used with a PC or as a stand-alone system, the perfect solution for large fleet end users, as well as for smaller applications.
- Automated test system and MSA Link™ Software (transfers portable gas detector records to a connected PC) provided as standard in many commonly spoken languages.
- Your ALTAIR 4X and ALTAIR 5X Multigas Detectors are always ready for use.
Cost of Ownership
- Exceeds 50% reduction in cost of ownership, including calibration gas expenses when combined with high-performance MSA XCell Sensors.
- Faster total testing of ALTAIR Family Gas Detectors.
- Test up to 10 gas detectors simultaneously in the time most competitive systems take to test one device.
- RFID-tagged calibration gas cylinders to help ensure use of correct gas.
Proactive Safety
- With MSA Link Pro Software, proactively manage safety by addressing gas exposure information and missing or failed calibrations and bump tests.
- Calibration gas and expiration warnings provided by the GALAXY GX2 System and via advanced MSA Link Pro Software.
- Print calibrations tickers for gas detectors to provide easy and fast user information.
- Query the system for gas exposures, and then email responses to users.
