MSA S-CAP Fire Escape Hood (CO-P2 Filter - In Pouch)

The S-Cap fire escape hood will provide yourself or others with 15 minutes escape time from emergency situations.  It’s from MSA Safety and comes in a visible, water-resistant sealed pouch.  It has three possible carrying options.

This smoke hood is suitable for various applications including the rescue and evacuation of people (even those who are unconscious) and it can be used in places such as residential areas, retirement homes, hotels, office buildings and meeting rooms.

Toxic gases such as Carbon Monoxide and smoke fumes emitted from a fire can sometimes be more dangerous than heat and flames.  The inbuilt filter in the S-Cap fire escape hood will help to combat the gas and smoke whereas the actual hood will protect you from heat and short flame contact.

The smoke hood is a universal size and the internal nose cup should be suitable for most face shapes.  The S-Cap can be easily donned in a matter of seconds which makes it the ideal escape hood for rescue applications.
