MSA Senscient ELDS - Coal Bed (HVAC)
The MSA Senscient ELDS (XD) is an open path cross duct methane gas detector offering gas detection in potentially explosive atmospheres over 0.5 to 5 metres. The breakthrough technology in the patented SimuGas and Harmonic Fingerprint, the highest false alarm rejection to date. Made with corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel and tend to be mounted opposite a ventilation duct. With a response time of less than 1 second it is perfect for quickly shutting down HVAC dampers as well as increasing the rate of air flow.
Each system has a transmitter sending an eye safe laser signal to a receiver and target gas falling into the beam will alter the laser signal to produce the harmonic fingerprint. this system is almost guaranteed to increase safety. Reduce maintenance costs with this device through the SimuGas technology providing automatic daily gas tests – eliminating the need for manual calibration. Additional to this the wireless Bluetooth technology allows for commissioning and troubleshooting while ensuring the safety of your employees.
