MSA Senscient ELDS – Ventilation Zone (HVAC)
The MSA Senscient ELDS (VZ) is an open path methane ventilation zone gas detector offering breakthrough technology in the patented SimuGas and Harmonic Fingerprint. Made with 316L stainless steel they should be positioned nearby ventilation air inlet grills in order to detect gas quickly and shutdown ventilation dampers.
Every system comprises of a transmitter sending an eye safe laser signal to a receiver and target gas falling into the beam will alter the laser signal to produce the harmonic fingerprint. With a response time of less than 1 second and the highest false alarm rejection to date this system is guaranteed to improve safety. Reduce maintenance costs with this as there is no need to manually calibrate due to the automatic daily testing through the SimuGas technology.
