MSA Ultima X
The Ultima X Series range of gas monitors are for the detection of combustible gases as well as oxygen and toxic gases. They have an extremely robust stainless-steel casing that is explosion proof and can be used across a variety of indoor and outdoor locations. The Ultima X Series can act as a monitor on its own or be a part of a control system with its 4-20mA, HART output capabilities and the option of ModBUS RTU communication.
The Ultima X Series withholds calibration data within, via its Smart Sensor modules allowing pre-sets to be created for catalytic and toxic sensor settings. This device can also be calibrated live in the field, and this can be done tool free, while the device is still in power.
The Ultima X Series also has a more upgraded version available known as the Ultima X5000, which Is seen as the future of fixed gas detection due to its advanced technology.
