Product description

The MSA W95 Filter Self-Rescuer is an air-purifying respirator for one-time escape, providing the wearer with protection against toxic carbon monoxide and other harmful gases released in underground mine fires or explosions. It can be used immediately after being opened and removed from its container.

The wearer is protected from the contaminated atmosphere through a latex-free mouthpiece and nose clip. The head harness is adjustable, allowing a tight fit and hands-free use. A robust stainless steel container is hermetically sealed to provide longer-lasting protection for the W95.

The CO-filter combines a noble metal catalyst with a Hopcalite pre-filter to provide high breathing comfort with reduced inhalation resistance and temperature. It has a service life of more than 4 hours.

The W95 is available in a standard version and a version supplied with a belt clip and metal tag.
