WatchGas SST1 Maintenance-Free Single Gas Detector

The SST1 from WatchGas is a maintenance-free gas detector, capable of detecting either Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxygen (O2) or Sulphur Dioxide (SO2). There’s no need to replace the sensor or battery in it’s 2- or 3-year fixed life time.

WatchGas’s SST1 battery life time, depends on the type of gas. H2S, CO, O2, SO2 can be offered as a 2 year model and H2S or CO may be offered as a 3 year version. The monitors display the number of months left available for usage on its LCD display

WatchGas offer a built-in feature called Near Field Communication on the SST1. This pairs with the WatchGas App and allows the user to manage their fleet of instruments. Through the use of the app you will be able to bump test, assign monitors or download event logs. Simply ‘Tap & Go’ by tapping your gas detector on your phone – like you would do with a contactless card.

Typical applications that the WatchGas SST1 single gas detector may be used in includes oil and gas, contractors, site maintenance, turnarounds, shutdowns, boiler rooms, steel plants, laboratories, shipping, power generation and mining.
