Drager Cylinder Cover Nomex (6.8L 300 bar)

This Drager cylinder cover is an accessory for Drager’s range of carbon composite cylinders for use with self-contained breathing apparatus.  This particular version of the cover holds a 6.8 litre 300 bar bottle and is made of nomex.

Nomex is a flame-resistant meta-aramid material which is ideal for use in hazardous applications.  Additional sizes are available in the Nomex range – 9 litre 200 bar and also 9 litre 300 bar .  Both are available on the Frontline Safety website.

The cylinder is an important part of a breathing apparatus set.  Using a cover will help protect the surface of this.  Composite cylinders feature many layers of aluminium and fibre glass which combine to ensure that any impact is cushioned.

In addition to Nomex covers there is a standard polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. PVC covers are available in the following sizes:
