Drager Cylinder Cover Nomex (9L 200 bar)

Drager Safety offers this nomex cover to protect carbon composite cylinders, used in self-contained breathing apparatus.  This cover in particular is suitable for 9 litre, 200 bar bottles.

The material used for the cover is called nomex which is a flame-resistant, meta-aramid textile. Whilst the cylinders feature a tough interior and exterior in the form of aluminium and fibre glass, it’s still important to protect the cylinder where possible.  The cover may prevent any damage to the surface of the bottle.

More sizes are available for the covers made of nomex material.  There is a version for the 6.8 litre 300 bar cylinder and also one for the 9L 300 bar carbon composite cylinders .  You can view and purchase both of these on our website.

If you just require a standard cylinder cover then a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cover is also obtainable.
