Drager Detection Tubes i-Propanol 50/a (Pack of 10)
Drager's i-Propanol short-term gas detection tubes come in a pack of 10 and are used to detect levels of i-Propanol in the air.
These tubes can be used for on-spot measurements and must be used in conjunction with the Drager Accuro Gas Detection Pump. This manual bellows pump is also available to purchase on the Frontline Safety website.
Cross Sensitivities
- The tube does not differentiate between different alcohols.
- During the measurement of n-Propanol with n=10 strokes, the concentration read must be multiplied by a factor of 3.5.
- Methanol is indicated approximately with double sensitivity, Ethanol with similar sensitivity and Tetrahydrofuran with half sensitivity.
- Higher molecular alcohols are indicated with significantly decreasing sensitivity.
- ≤ 100 ppm formaldehyde; ≤ 250 ppm acetaldehyde; ≤ 200 ppm toluene; ≤ 200 ppm xylene;≤ 100 ppm diethyl ether and ≤ 1000 ppm dimethyl ether are not indicated.
- Aliphatic petroleum hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, halogenated hydrocarbons and benzene are also not indicated.
- Reach difficult measurement areas with the tubes, pump and accessories
- Carry out measurements on the spot
- Measurement results may take between 10 seconds and 15 minutes depending on the type of tube used
- Applications for use include variations in concentrations in the workplace, contamination of breathing zones, pre-entry checks and confined space entry
