Drager SCBA Carry Case

The Drager Hard-Shell carrying case is a storage option for self-contained breathing apparatus.

The case comes in a bright orange colour which makes it easily visible.  The case weighs 6.8 kilograms and features the following dimensions 740 mm x 515 mm x 285 mm. 

The hard shell case is made of a material called high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum.  The advantage of using this type of material for a hard case is the fact it has a large strength-to-density ratio.

The PSS 7000 compressed air breathing apparatus is one of the products which are suitable for use with the hard-shell carrying case.  The self-contained breathing apparatus fits into the case and will house the harness and back plate, face mask, lung demand valve and a cylinder.
