Drager X-plore RD40 X-tended 1140 A2P3 R D Filter
Please note: this product is now obsolete. See p/n 6738929 for the replacement
The A2P3 R D X-Tended combination filter from Drager Safety is part of the X-plore Rd40 filter range. It’s specifically for use against gases and vapours of organic compounds with a boiling point of > 65 °C. It can also offer protection against dust and particulates (99.95% efficient).
Being an X-tended filter means it operates to a minimum of 30% higher performance than standard requirements.
It has an Rd40 thread connection which is standard in accordance to EN 148-1. It's important to note that this filter can only be used with a full face mask such as the X-plore 6300. This is due to the filter being more than 300g.
It’s important to note that although Drager term the filter as being reusable this will depend on a number of factors. Factors include breathing rate, the atmosphere, humidity and temperature will affect the lifetime of the filter. This means the lifetime will vary amongst users and applications.
- Additional protection is offered through a tough aluminium housing
- The housing also makes the filter easy to recognise
- Passed a dolomite test
- Long shelf life – 6 years from the date of production
- CE approved (EN 141:2000 re. EN 14387, EN 143:2000, EN 371) and SAI Global-approved (Australia)
