MSA 6.9L 300 Bar Composite Cylinder with Lockable Valve

MSA Safety offers this 6.9 litre, 300 bar compressed air cylinder for breathing air applications.  This particular version of the cylinder is made from a carbon composite material which has the advantage of being 50% lighter than a traditional steel cylinder.

This cylinder will be supplied as empty and comes in the colour yellow.  It has an additional safety feature which is a ratchet hand wheel (lockable valve).  This works to avoid accidental valve closure in applications including confined spaces.  In order to close the valve the hand wheel has to be pulled and turned at the same time.
