MSA S-Cap Air Light - Carbon Composite Cylinder (Empty))

Escape from a dangerous environment with the S-Cap Air Light – a short duration emergency escape breathing device from MSA Safety.  This particular version of the S-Cap contains a modern composite cylinder and is ideal for applications including on board ships, offshore oil rigs, chemical industries, water utilities and confined spaces.

Please note: the cylinder in this escape set is provided empty and uncharged.

Other features of this EEBD include the brightly coloured hood and bag, an integrated oro-nasal mask and elastic neck seal.  The elastic neck seal creates extra protection by increasing tightness around the neck.  The hood also has a large visor with an excellent field of vision and an exhalation valve, which minimises any fogging and CO2 accumulation.

One of the main advantages of the S-Cap Air Light is how easy it is to carry.  It’s readily accessible for emergency situations but the composite cylinder is what makes the escape set easy and light to carry.  The protective bag also shows clear instructions on how to use the S-Cap Air – pull the firing strap, don the hood and escape the toxic fumes and smoke.
