Drager X-plore 8700 (Ex) Blower Unit from X-plore 8000 Powered Air-Purifying Respirator Range
The Drager X-plore 8700 is a modular blower unit that can be configured with other elements to make a powered air respirator to suit your application. The X-plore 8700 (Ex) is suitable for either a standard (EX) battery or high-capacity (EX) battery. The X-plore 8700 is suitable for use in area where explosion protection is required. The ex-approval covers it for ex-zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
The X-plore 8700 is an intuitive electronic monitor that will automatically recognise the filters used and also automatically set the flow rate for you. This will help prevent any leakages. It’s ingress protected to IP 65, so can be easily decontaminated and will withstand dust and water jets from any direction. It has rubber protectors too which will help when used in any heavy-duty applications.
To ensure you have a complete kit, along with your blower unit, you must choose an:
- EX battery and charger
- Carrying system
- Filter
- Hose
- Head Piece
- Any additional accessories you require
- Range of accessories available to enhance the use of this
- Carrying system helps distribute the weight of the product
- Triple alarm system (optical, acoustical and vibrating alarm)
