GMI PS200 Automatic Bump/Calibration Station
The GMI PS200 Automatic Bump and Calibration Station is a quick and easy way of ensuring your PS200 multi gas detector meets industry or company standards. Within minutes your gas detector can be calibrated or bumped, meaning the unit will not be out of use for long.
The kit includes the bump test station, the 12V universal power supply unit, 6mm fittings, tubing, mounting bracket, quick operating instructions and a USB memory stick which is pre-loaded with PS200 settings software. Gas and a demand flow regulator are not included and would have to purchased to suit the gases found in your specific detector.
Simply place the unit in the cradle and close the lid over to initiate the test. This will automatically start the calibration or bump test operation. Three different tests are possible with the GMI PS200 ABC station. A 'Quick' bump test lasts around 15 seconds and will verify that the alarms will activate when the alarm setpoints are reached by the gas. A 'Full bump test', which is the factory default, will take around 60 seconds and will check the alarm setpoints and sensor response. Should anything fail then an automatic calibratin will occur. A full calibration is the other test option and this will take around 60 seconds.
The ABC Station has a LED pass or fail system which makes it easy to see the status of the unit at a glance. An orange light will show test in progress, green will show a pass and red will show a fail. Test results can be transferred from the ABC station to the comptuer via the USB memory stick.
