Honeywell MIDAS S2 Gas Detector

The Honeywell MIDAS S2 is Honeywell’s latest generation of extractive single-point gas fixed gas detection system. It features a compact form factor perfect for applications with restricted space and tight space constraints. It is a very simple and reliable gas detection solution with a highly modular design and very easy installation and serviceability. Its robust extractive pump system samples up to 100ft and has a 2-year lifetime.

The MIDAS 2 is a plug-and-play solution, simply installing the unit and using modular sensors to limit installation and service hassles. Designed with semiconductor manufacturing, light manufacturing, and laboratory applications in mind. The factory-calibrated sensors reduce the need for frequent gas testing and service requirements. The modular sensors can be replaced efficiently and safely on site in busy and complex process environments, removing the change of operator error and sensor depletion. Some MIDAS 2 part numbers include a Line Integrity Test (LIT) module that detects tubing leaks and/or tubing.
