WatchGas SST1 Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) Disposable Single Gas Detector
The SST1 from WatchGas is capable of detecting levels of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S). This is a maintenance-free, disposable detector with a 2-year lifetime. There’s no need to replace batteries or sensors during its lifetime.
It’s a personal monitor and should be worn around a person’s breathing area. Common applications where this monitor can be used is steel plants, laboratories, shipping, power generation, mining, shutdowns, turnarounds and oil and gas.
The gas detector uses top class sensor technology (SST) to ensure it’s use in various temperatures and humidities. The SST1 H2S uses Tap Compliance technology where a method of wireless transfer called Near Field Communication (NFC) allows you to ‘tap’ your smartphone with your monitor and access the WatchGas app. On this app you will be able to manage the detector, bump test, assign to workers and download event logs.
